Teams need to consist at least as many females as males, with a minimum of 10 people and a maximum of 14. The cost to register a team is $175, and registrations need to be received no later than Wednesday. There are only 16 spots available, which Larsen expects will fill up quickly. The first-place team will receive windbreakers, the second-place team will get messenger bags, and the third-place team will get water bottles.
Danish Ball for the kids
There will also be fun for the kids with “Danish Ball,” a game something like Cricket, while the adults play softball. The game is played with a ball made from yarn wrapped around a rubber core. There isn’t even a need for mitts. And don’t worry if you don’t know about Danish Ball or Cricket. We’ll show you how to play.
