| E phraim,
Utah is in the heart of Utah with easy access from the North, South,
and East.
From
Northern Utah and the Wasatch Front
There are two routes. The distance and time for
both routes is about the same.
Nephi/Moroni Route
Go south
on I-15 to the second Nephi exit (Exit 225). (Nephi is about 85 miles
south of downtown Salt Lake City.) Signs show that the exit leads
to Ephraim, Manti and State Road 132.
At the bottom of the exit turn left, heading east
and follow State Road 132 about 25 miles, passing through Fountain
Green and Moroni.
At the east end of Moroni, you will come to an intersection,
with State Road 114 leading straight ahead toward Mt. Pleasant and
State Road 132 veering right toward Ephraim and Snow College. Stay
on State Road 132.
Continue on State Road 132 for about 5 miles, passing through Chester,
until you reach U.S. 89.
Turn right on U.S. 89 and continue south for about
8 miles to the center of Ephraim. At the stoplight (100 North or College
Avenue), turn left, heading east toward the festival entrance.
Total Distance from downtown Salt Lake City:
117 miles
Spanish Fork Canyon Route
Go
south on I-15 to the second Spanish Fork exit (Exit 261). (Spanish
Fork is about 50 miles south of downtown Salt Lake City). Signs show
that the exit leads to U.S. 6 and Manti.
The Exit 261 ramp funnels you onto U.S. 6 heading east. Follow U.S.
6 about 15 miles to the turnoff for U.S. 89. Signs show that the turnoff
is for U.S. 89 and Manti.
Turn right from U.S. 6 onto U.S. 89 heading south.
Continue on U.S. 89 about 30 miles to Fairview. Remain on U.S. 89
through Fairview and Mt. Pleasant into Ephraim. (It’s about
21 miles from Fairview to Ephraim.) At the stoplight (100 North or
College Avenue), turn left, heading east toward the festival entrance.
Total Distance from downtown Salt Lake City:
115 miles
From Eastern Utah and Price
From points east of Price, take U.S. 6 west into
Price.
From Price, take State Road 10 (Carbon Avenue) to
Huntington (about 21 miles).
At Huntington, head northwest on State Road 31 toward
Fairview (about 47 miles).
State Road 31 intersects with U.S. 89 (also State
Street in Fairview). Take U.S. 89 south through Fairview and Mt. Pleasant
into Ephraim (about 21 miles). At the stoplight (100 North or College
Avenue), turn left, heading east toward the festival entrance.
Total distance from Price: 90 miles
From Southern Utah, Cedar City and St. George
Take I-15 north toward Richfield. Merge onto I-70
(Exit 132). (From St. George to I-70 is about 125 miles.)
Take I-70 north and east about 55 miles to Exit 54
(Salina). (Be careful not to miss the Salina exit. It’s the
last exit for more than 100 miles, other than Highway Patrol turnarounds.)
The Salina exit puts you onto U.S. 89 going north.
Continue north on U.S. about 15 miles, passing through Axtell, Centerfield
and Gunnison. At the north end of Gunnison is a junction, with State
Road 28 toward Levan straight ahead and U.S. 89 veering right.
Veer right, remaining on U.S. 89, for about 15 until
you reach Manti. From Manti, continue north on U.S. 89 for about 10
more miles into the center of Ephraim. At the stoplight (100 North
or College Avenue), turn right heading east toward the festival entrance.
Total Distance from St. George: 220 miles
