REGISTRATIONS ARE NOW BEING ACCEPTED FOR THE SCANDINAVIAN HERITAGE PARADE...

Fara Boothe parade chairman anticipates that this years parade will be very fun and interesting for all participants and spectators alike. The parade will give an opportunity to reflect upon the scandinavian heritage of this part of the country. Each year the parade is well attended with local residents as well as many visitors who come for the weekend.

To sign up contact Fara Boothe at faraboothe@gmail.com with the following: Your theme or idea, whether you will be walking riding and on what. (Car, float, what kind of vehicle etc.) Also, with your e-mail a description of your entry is needed for the announcer to read during the parade.

Parade entries will line up at 300 South on the East side of Main Street beginning about 9am. At 10am the parade will begin and proceed down Main Street to College Avenue.

EACH YEAR THE PARADE KICKS OFF THE SATURDAY FESTIVITIES IN AN EXCITING WAY.
